Chris is the owner of Northern Lights Mechanical with his wife, Maureen. Prior to starting the business in 2016, Chris spent over 20 years in the HVAC and Electrical field. He is a Master Electrician, as well as a Master Oil and Solid Fuel, Natural Gas and Propane Technician. He also holds a certificate in Facilities Engineering from Mass Maritime Academy.
Chris is a proud Veteran, having spent 14 years in the Marine Corps and is currently a Civil Engineer with the 265th Combat Communications Squadron, Maine Air National Guard in South Portland.
In his spare time, he is an avid sportsman. He enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and sitting around a fire sipping whiskey.

Maureen is the Co-Owner of Northern Lights Mechanical alongside her husband, Chris. She has a background in hospitality, having worked at St. Joseph’s College as the director of the Alfond Center, a professor at Johnson & Wales University, and most recently as the chair of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at Southern Maine Community College. Maureen oversees day-to-day operations while focusing on marketing and local outreach within our Windham & Greater Portland community.
While Maureen is not at work you will most likely find her spending time with her new Grandson.

Jeff graduated from Northeast Technical Institute in 2019 after working in warehousing, logistics and building maintenance. He is licensed in electrical, gas and oil heat, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Jeff’s focus is working with our customers to ensure high quality, creative and cost-effective service and installations that will last for years.
Jeff resides in Scarborough with his wife and two daughters.

After working in the beverage and medical manufacturing field for five years, Tom decided to switch jobs to HVAC. He received training and licensing for HVAC from Northeast Technical Institute and has a BFA in English Literature from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Thomas enjoys hiking and recording & producing music. He currently resides in Portland with his fiancé and their new Corgi puppy.

After working in the medical field for 6 years, Heather decided to make a career pivot and landed at Northern Lights Mechanical. She keeps everything running behind the scenes; from scheduling and invoicing to social media management and back-end support.
Heather enjoys hiking, gardening and baking. She currently resides in Standish with her husband, their pug and three bunnies.
